Lush greenery in springtime, magical views and forests rich with berries and mushrooms in the late summer and fall. With a base in Fryksås you have fantastic hiking at your doorstep, while staying comfortably in a peaceful and quaint village.

15 minutes walk from the hotel you will find many trails of varying difficulty and length - in the forest, around lakes and up the hillsides.
Go 30 minutes by car to the beautiful Koppången nature reserve, where you can pick cloudberries when in season.
For the ambitious hiker, the trails Siljansleden (340 km) or Orsasjön runt (43 km) can both begin and end in Fryksås.
